Dublin based electronic music producer Simon Bird has been nothing short of prolific in his delivery of swirling ambient electronic gems. This year alone, the beat maker has dropped four EP’s. The tail end of last year he also released an EP. The latest EP to drop is V, released last week. The five-track EP creates an epic stadium like vibe with its powerful surges of experimental electronica coupled with sharp hooks and cuts. Drone-esque beats are evident in parts which add to the generating of that stadium like atmosphere. It’s difficult to pinpoint a standout track as the EP flows satisfyingly throughout almost like a collective twenty-five minute journey. Embark on the journey by heading over to Simon’s bandcamp page and grab V for free and all his earlier releases. Another important point to note is that Simon wrote, recorded and produced V and his other EP’s all by himself, making his work all the more impressive.
