On first listen I was pretty blown away by Young Island‘s four-track release ‘iii‘. I don’t know a whole lot about the project other than he/she/they are based in Bath in the UK, I think. The opening track, ‘A.M Heat‘, has really grabbed my attention with its almost gospel-like, tribal vocals and percussive flavour. ‘iii‘ is available via the name-your-price method here.
