As far as debut tracks go, this one has trumped pretty much any other debut I’ve heard all year. Based in New Zealand, :WON is a musician with serious talent, be it through her stunning vocals or high calibre production skills. ‘Downhearted’ features gorgeous vocal work and smooth synths that result in a lush evolving soundscape.
